Your Guide to Using Astute Signals with Zoom

Welcome to Astute Signals! This guide provides everything you need to know about getting private wellness insights from your Zoom meetings. Our service uses a secure AI bot that analyzes your meetings to help you build greater self-awareness.

How It Works: 

Getting started is simple. Our service operates from our secure web application, and our bot joins your meetings as a guest. No installation on your Zoom account is required.

Step 1: Create Your Account 

1. First, you need an Astute Signals account.

2. Navigate to the Astute Signals website. You can find us listed on the Zoom App Marketplace, which will direct you to our site.

3. On our website, choose to Sign Up for a new account or Log In to your existing one.

4. Once you're logged into your Astute Signals dashboard, your setup is complete!

Step 2: Invite the Bot to a Meeting 

1. For each meeting you want to analyze, you'll need to invite our bot.

2. From your Zoom meeting, copy the full meeting invitation link.

3. Log in to your dashboard on the Astute Signals website.

4. Paste the Zoom meeting link into the field provided and click the Invite button.

5. Our bot will then request to join your meeting. If you use a Waiting Room, you will need to manually admit the "Astute Signals AI" when it arrives.

Step 3: View Your Wellness Report

1. After your meeting ends, our AI gets to work.

2. Allow a few minutes for the analysis to be completed.

3. Log back into your Astute Signals dashboard.

4. Your new wellness report will be available, providing insights into your estimated heart rate and vocal stress patterns from the session.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Do I need to install an app from the Zoom App Marketplace? 

A: No. Our service is a web application, and our bot joins your meeting as a guest when invited. The Zoom Marketplace listing serves as a directory to help you find our service and website, but no installation or authorization through Zoom is needed.

Q: Do I have to invite the bot to every meeting? 

A: Yes. The current version of our service requires you to manually invite the bot to each session you wish to have analyzed. This ensures you are always in control.

Q: Can other people in the meeting see my wellness results? 

A: Absolutely not. Your wellness report is generated privately and is only available on your secure dashboard. No one else in the meeting has access to your data.

Uninstallation and Account Management

Stopping Use of the Service 

As no app is installed on your Zoom account, there is no uninstallation process. To stop using the service at any time, simply stop inviting the bot to your meetings.

De-listing the App from Your Zoom Account (Optional) 

If you previously added Astute Signals to your "Added Apps" list on the Zoom App Marketplace, you can remove it at any time for housekeeping purposes (Manage >> Added Apps). Please note that this action is optional and does not delete your Astute Signals account or your past reports.

Permanently Deleting Your Astute Signals Account 

To permanently erase your account and all associated data, log in to your Astute Signals dashboard, navigate to Account Settings, and select the Delete Account option. This action cannot be undone and will permanently erase all your historical reports.
